Question by nulset: What is the best freeware or inexpensive home design or remodel software?
I have some architectural training, am a graphic designer and wish to draw my own plans for an addition and new dormer for my home.

Actually any of them you see still on the shelf is good. Sometimes at office max or circuit city you can get a good one for $ 20 and a good enough one for $ 10

Nothing is free. Especially download. It is all gonna cost you one way or another.
