This is one of the conceptual design sketches that I-5 Design and Manufacture created for the Thunder Falls Casino. The overall design intent for this casino was to create a look and feel that brought some outdoor elements in, while maintaining a classic craftsmen’s look. Timber-frame wood beams are suspended from the ceiling, generating a warm, intimate feel, as well as visually lowering the ceiling and enhancing the lodge-style ambiance. To support these beams, I-5 designed rustic wood columns with knee-braces and rock bases to be placed at various locations throughout the gaming floor.
