Question by Cat H: I need ideas for cool wall art for a kitchen?
I have an open kitchen/dining area. I want large wall art and something colorful. What are some good suggestions or links? I don’t do the flowers, fairies or girly stuff. I like industrial and clean modern or something funky.
It can be neutral with a wall that is an accent color or I can go colorful all over. The appliances are stainless and black. The cabinets are a neutral toned wood.

What colour is your kitchen? as thats going to have a big impact on what you can do, I say this with a little second hand knowledge, my wife is a artist (in fact she is the third generation of artists). What she did (to OUR kitchen may I add) was to go for the kitchen white, the walls very white and then she put up a funky modern piece her father did… it looks really cool (well I think so). You can see a pic of the art in the sources to see if it helps at all?

Look into Wall Decals. Thery are becoming quite popular now. Here are a few links to start you out. Really I am sure that there are tons of webpages that sell wall decals in every design and color thinkable. the only thing is to search them out and find one that fits your personality and style.
