    Keep it chic, but modern.

I would go with a black on black printed tablecloth, solid black placemats with red cloth napkins in either black or silver napkin rings. The use tall red candles in sleek silver candle holders. Maybe a sprig of holly somewhere.

blue, silver, and white table setting with glitter and silver snowflakes for accents. (like napkin holders with snowflakes or candle holders and such). Lindh has truffle chocolates too in those colors you could put in one of the bowls as a bribe lol. good luck, hope you take first place.

ps i have gone to all white dishes because they look simple but elegent. if one breaks it is easy to replace because the white draws more attention to the table decorations and away from if each piece matches or not. They are very inexpensive too, like $ 1 each at walmart right now, then target has great add ons like the gravy bowl and minni sauce bowls

either way i would stick with warm cozy “it’s beginnig to look alot like christmas” themes but the snowflake them would run you through new year too so it may get a better reaction from the judges
