Question by Betty: help! Can you offer some suggestions for wall art/decorations on blank wall in kitchen?
I have a blank wall space above my over the stove microwave in my kitchen, rectangular shape, 12 x 30. Can you please suggest something that i can hang or put on my wall? its so bare right now! Thanks.

Because this is over a microwave oven and stove so its not something you necessarily need to make into a focal point of the room, I recommend a well sized mirror with a frame in a style that works with your kitchens feel, there are lots of mirrors that should fit here try shopping with a 12 x 30 sheet of paper to be sure your mirror will have
enough wall showing around it, hang it so there is more wall showing below it than above, and you will bring more light into your room and finish this blank wall, and enhance the overall style of your kitchen.

well, is there a theme in ur kitchen?
just look around for a painting you like, or if you have kids, hang up a nice drawing of theirs.
You could put a fruit/vegetable/dessert type painting or an animal like chicken painting, most kitchens have them. Or a rose or buy an arch shaped design and put it over the microwave oven which looks really pretty and modern
