Question by Cowgirl_Up: Any Summer Cookie Decorating Ideas?
Any ideas on what I should decorate sugar cookies with? It needs to be a theme of summer time, due to it is summer. Im using a fondant to decorate so I’m OK for decorating most anything. Thanks for your ideas, they really help!

How about bumble bees, lady bugs, butterflies, flowers, the sun, BBQ grill, flip flops, beach ball, fire works. The possibilities are endless.

sand pails … use star shapes and slightly bend the ends to make STARFISH … flowers … sailboats …. use donut cutters to make kids’ LIFE RINGS … flip-flops
I once made sugar cookies in various shapes; ice cream cone, beach balls, pails and shovels, sand castles and swim suits. I was the toast of the family. I cut out templates of what I wanted to make and then cut them from the rolled dough. They came out quite nice. If you want some that are your own ideas think of what summer means to you and cut it out of paper templates aren’t that hard to make, it’s the cutting them with a knife that takes time. These are just a few ideas;anything beachy would work!
I would say a big sun on them would be cute.
Or flip flops
decorate some like flip-flops or beach umbrellas. Maybe a bottle of Coppertone sunscreen
